(b) Chromatography of the ethanol extracts and their five fractions (ECE, PEF, CF, EAF, AF, and MF) monitored at 254 nm and identified by their retention time (min): chlorogenic acid (6.62, peak 1), epicatechin (8.31, peak 2), rutin (12.12, peak 3), hyperoside (13.61, peak 4), trifolin (15.73, peak 5), quercitrin (16.82, peak 6), Kaempferol-3-rhamnoside (20.61, peak 7), quercetin (28.32, peak 8), nitidine chloride (35.61, peak 9), chelerythrine (36.95, peak 10), xanthyletin (37.20, peak 11), and sesamin (46.44, peak 15). Peaks 9–11 were very weak.
