In silico modeling of Pseudomonas species growth on benzoate in MSM medium with a fixed oxygen uptake flux of 50 mmol⋅gDW⁻¹⋅hr⁻¹. Growth inhibition by high uptake fluxes of benzoate is seen in iMO1086 and iJP962. However, for iSB1139, the growth rate did not decrease, even at high benzene concentrations.
