Evaluation and Prediction of the HIV-1 Central Polypurine Tract Influence on Foamy Viral Vectors to Transduce Dividing and Growth-Arrested Cells

The summarized statistics of retroviral replication efficiency (transduction rate) in the A549 cells. The pMD9-based plasmids were tested to efficiently transduce dividing and growth-arrested cells (G1/S phase of cell cycle). Three conditions were analysed in the experiment: control (a); DMSO (b); aphidicolin (c). The mean ± SD values from three independent assays are shown.
