(a) Effect of Cu(BrHAP)2 on cell cycle arrest in the S/M phase. After incubation with DMSO or Cu(BrHAP)2 at 2 μg/mL for 24 h, HT-29 cells were collected, stained with BrdU and Phospho-Histone H3, and subjected to the Cellomics ArrayScan HCS reader for cell cycle analysis. (b) Representative bar charts indicating that Cu(BrHAP)2 treatment caused no significant changes in BrdU or Phospho-Histone H3 fluorescence intensities in treated HT-29 cells. Cu(BrHAP)2 induced no cell cycle arrest at the S/M phases in treated HT-29 cells. Data were expressed as the mean ± SD of fluorescence intensity readings for three independent experiments.
