Peritoneal macrophages from rev-erbα ^−/− mice increase il6 gene expression. Peritoneal macrophages were harvested as adherent cells from 2-month-old rev-erbα ^−/− mice and their wild-type (+/+) mice. The cells were treated with or without 1 μg/mL LPS for 24 h.
