Reaction was performed in 10 mL of chloroform at temperature (35°C) with alkene (0.6 mmol), phenylacetic acid (8.8 mmol), H2O2 (30% wt/wt, 4.4 mmol), Novozym 435 (1.7% wt/wt, 19.9 mg) and shaken at 250 rpm for 12 h. The yields were determined by GC-MS SIM method.
The epoxidation yield was obtained after 16 h of reaction time.
