Antimycobacterial and Nitric Oxide Production Inhibitory Activities of Ocotea notata from Brazilian Restinga

Figure 7

The inhibitory effect on NO production by crude extract and flavonoids Acet22 (isoquercitrin) and Acet32 (afzelin) at concentrations of 0.8, 4, 20, and 100 μg/mL in lipopolysaccharide- (LPS-) stimulated RAW 264.7 macrophages. Negative control: macrophages without stimuli. Positive control: macrophages stimulated with 1 μg/mL LPS. Treatment with L-NMMA was used also as a positive control of NO inhibition, reducing NO production by % at 20 μg/mL. , ∗∗, and ∗∗∗, significance obtained by ANOVA and posttest Tukey () when compared to the positive control.
