The Effects of Tormentic Acid and Extracts from <i>Callistemon citrinus</i> on <i>Candida albicans</i> and <i>Candida tropicalis</i> Growth and Inhibition of Ergosterol Biosynthesis in <i>Candida albicans</i>

<div>The effects of miconazole on cells exposed to miconazole. Ergosterol content decreased as the concentration of miconazole was increased. A percentage decrease in ergosterol of 100% was observed at 25 <i>μ</i>g/ml of miconazole. Data were analysed by one-way ANOVA.
