The data are expressed as mean $\pm$ SD ($n=6$) in relation to the ${{\text{CD}}_4}^{+}$/${{\text{CD}}_8}^{+}$ T-cell ratio of chickens. ${}_{}{}^{*}P\mathrm{\hspace{0.17em}\hspace{0.17em}}<\mathrm{\hspace{0.17em}\hspace{0.17em}}.05$ was accepted as significant differences compared to the normal saline control group.
