G-DCF: Improving System Spectral Efficiency through Concurrent Transmissions in Wireless LANs

<div>Behavior of G-DCF. When AP<sub>X</sub> transmits a packet to node A, it includes group ID 1 in the preamble. When AP<sub>Y</sub> receives the preamble, it can immediately transmit a packet to node B if the channel was idle before receiving the preamble. When AP<sub>Z</sub> receives the packet, it sets up the NAV and defers its transmission.</div>
