The framework of the MTAL model. The MTAL model contains two student networks. They perform mutual learning by teaching each other interactively throughout the training stage, which will boost their performance. Furthermore, each student network integrates the triplet attention module, which can capture the cross-dimension interaction by calculating attention weights based on a three-branch structure.
