Advance in Nonlinear Analysis: Algorithm, Convergence and Applications

Description

Most of the rich notions, theories, techniques, and results of nonlinear analysis have been combined and applied in solving many different problems such as economics, numerical analysis, optimization, mechanics, elasticity, plasticity, hydrodynamics, thermodynamics, and statistical physics. In turn, these nonlinear problems have led to new and rapid developments in this theory.

This special issue will focus on important developments in nonlinear analysis and its applications with a particular emphasis on the following potential topics. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Nonlinear eigenvalue problems and nonlinear spectral theory
  • Iteration theory, iterative and composite equations
  • Fixed point theory and methods of computing fixed points
  • Nonsmooth analysis, variational analysis, and convex analysis and its applications
  • Variational and other types of inequalities involving nonlinear mappings (general)
  • Semidefinite programming, polynomial optimization
  • Multilinear algebra and tensor computation
  • Positive operator inequality and its applications in operator equation, spectrum theory, and so forth
  • Banach space geometric constant and its applications
  • Miscellaneous applications of nonlinear analysis
