Single Top as Window on Heavy Quarks and Other New Physics

Table 1

Cross-sections as predicted by the SM with 3 generations and as measured for single top production. Standard model predictions are at next-to-leading order with next-to-next-to-leading logarithm resummation [15] for a top mass of 173 GeV and MSTW2008 NNLO parton distribution functions. The first theory uncertainty is from scale variation ( ), and the second is from the parton distribution function at 90% confidence level. When two experimental uncertainties are quoted, the first is statistical and the second is systematic, and when a third uncertainty is quoted it corresponds to the luminosity uncertainty.
