Cytotoxicity test of AgNPs to PBMCs and antimicrobial effect to Methylobacterium spp. (a) The numbers of live (blue) and dead (red) cells were counted for each sample. (b) 10 nm AgNPs displayed increased cytotoxicity in 0.5 mg/mL concentration between two different size particles. 1.0 mg/mL of 10 nm AgNPs showed the highest cytotoxicity to PBMCs comparable to the one from the positive control (DMSO).
