No significant differences were observed between the groups’ actual weights, but total weight gain was the highest in the HFD and normal groups (50% and 47%, resp.), while the HFD + simvastatin group had the lowest (40% increase), followed by the HFD + SAH and HFD + SAL groups (42% and 46%, resp.).
