Histological analysis of rhBMP2/d-BCP induced bone regeneration in calvarial defects of mice. All specimens used for radiographic analyses (Figure 4) were formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded, and then cut into 7 μm thick sections. The sections were then stained with hematoxylin and eosin (H&E). Micrographs are shown at ×1 and ×10 magnifications.
