Filled circles denote the equilibria using the fitted pair of parameters in Table 2 and Figure 2 (control, , ), (2 μM, , ), (4 μM, , ), (8 μM, , ), and (12 μM, , ). Vertical lines denote critical values for the monolayer model (). At values of below these critical values the monolayer grows exponentially. For values higher than this it declines exponentially. Diagrams for the proliferating and quiescent compartments (omitted here) are similar to this diagram. Note that equilibrium values for all spheroid compartments drop to near zero before the critical value for the monolayer model.
