The Effect of Cordycepin on Steroidogenesis and Apoptosis in MA-10 Mouse Leydig Tumor Cells

Figure 4

Effects of AR antagonists on cordycepin-induced steroidogenesis in MA-10 mouse Leydig tumor cells. MA-10 cells (5,000 cells/well) were treated with different dosage (10 nM~1 μM) of A1, A2A, A2B, and A3 AR antagonists, which were (a) DPCPX, (b) Caffeine, (c) MRS-1754, and (d) MRS-1191 in the absence or presence of 100 μM cordycepin for 24 hr. Media were collected and assayed for progesterone production by RIA. Each data point in the figure represents the mean the mean ± SEM of three independent experiments with triplicates in each treatment. Asterisk *( ) above the bars indicates significant difference compared with control.
