Assessment of differentiation of primo vessel cells in vitro. (a) Primary primo vessel cells were cultured in DMEM supplemented with or without 5 ng/mL TGF-β1 for 5 days, and then endothelial markers (vWF, CD31, VE-cadherin) and fibroblast markers (PDI, MTS1, procollagen I) were tested by immunocytochemistry. (b) Primary primo vessel cells were cultured in DMEM supplemented with or without 5 ng/mL TGF-β1 for indicated days collagen α1(I) mRNA was examined by real-time PCR, and collagen α1(I) secretion in culture media was detected by ELISA. versus TGF-β1-simulated primo vessel cells (the first column on the left in each group).
