Histochemical analysis of hair follicles in the dorsal skin area treated with the ATRES extracts. After the dorsal skin area of telogenic mice was treated with 3% (w/v) of MXD, n-butanol extract, DW extract, and n-butanol-n4 fraction, the area was isolated and fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde. Each section was stained with hematoxylin and eosin (a) and then the number of hair follicles was counted () (b).
