EA treatment reduced the infarct volume. Injury in the brain slices was determined by the TTC method 24 h after MCAO with and without EA treatment. The EA group showed smaller MCAO-evoked infracted areas compared to the M group. For the column, infarct volume was calculated in the three groups (Figure 2(b)). “△” means versus S group, while “” means versus M group.
