The effect of OHAE on HepG2 cell viability in the absence (a) and presence of lead acetate- (Pb-) induced hepatotoxicity (concentration: 100 μg/ml, (b)). In Figure 7(a), five thousand HepG2 cell lines were grown in a 96-well plate and treated with different concentrations of the extract at a range of 0–160 μg/ml for 48 hours. In Figure 7(b), the cells were pretreated at concentrations of 0–80 μg/ml for 24 hours and then subjected to 100 μg/ml of lead acetate for a further 24 hours of coincubation. compared to the group without extract. and compared to the group incubated with 10 μg/ml of extract.
