Using Precourse Formative Written Testing in a Pharmacology Class Greatly Increases Medical Students’ Performance in Final Written Summative Tests

Note that some students (n = 39) took part at the obligatory exam in clinical pharmacology (cohort 4, n = 213) which were not part of the cohorts 1, 2 or 3. That means cohort 2 and 3 are subgroups of cohort 4.
