Light microscopic images of adjacent sections showing 6E10, AT180, and AT8 immunoreactive profiles in CA1 and subiculum in 3-week, 9-, and 18–20-months-old 3xTg-AD mice. AT180 and AT8 immunostained CA1 and subicular neurons were present at each age examined. This is in contrast to the Alz50, which only stained neurons in the CA1 field (see Figure 11). The arrows in F and I indicate dystrophic AT8 subicular neurons. Dashed line in (i) demarcates the CA1 field from the subiculum. Scale bar in (a) is the same for all panels = 50  m.
