Pathology slide (a) and photoacoustic image (b) image of a second tumor-positive lymph node (node 11 from Table 1). This node has more blood vessels and less melanin deposits compared to the node in Figure 3. Blood vessels and melanin in the upper part of the node are more intertwined.
