The intima-media-complex (IMC) in (b) has been extracted using automated segmentation as described in [4, 24], where the IMTaver = 079 mm (between the bands Z5 and Z6, middle bar), = 0.8367 mm (left bar), = 0.6356 mm (right bar) and IMTmedian = 0.75 mm).
