CD80 Expression Correlates with IL-6 Production in THP-1-Like Macrophages Costimulated with LPS and Dialyzable Leukocyte Extract (Transferon®)

Transferon® increased IL-6 production. Macrophage-like THP1 cells were treated with 0.1 μg/mL, 1 μg/mL, and 10 μg/mL of Transferon® in the presence or absence of 1 mg/mL LPS. Supernatants were collected at 24 h, and (a) IL-6, (b) IL-1β, and (c) TNF-α quantification was performed by ELISA. .
