Comparison of surface areas of the different nanomaterials. The surface areas were determined by the nitrogen sorption method and applied to the Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) model. Errors are generally given as the standard deviation of 3 replicates while the results are reported as the average thereof (see supporting information, Tables 1 and 2).
