Comparison of the SNF-based catalysts to the commercial Novozyme 435. The errors of the activity per BET surface were calculated with the error propagation formula. The enzyme loading and BET surface of Novozyme 435 were taken from the literature [18, 30]. See supporting information Table 7 for the approximation of the layers over the BET surface. Errors are given as the standard deviation of at least 3 measurements while the results are reported as the average thereof (see supporting information Table 8).
