Morphological characteristics of HeLa cells after aspirin treatment. (a) Cells were treated with various concentrations of aspirin and grown for 48 hours. For detection of apoptotic morphology, cells were stained with Hoechst 33342 dye and assessed for morphological signs of apoptosis. The right panel (b) shows the enlarged photograph of apoptotic cells ( ).
