Sorrel Extract Reduces Oxidant Production in Airway Epithelial Cells Exposed to Swine Barn Dust Extract In Vitro

<div>Hydrogen peroxide generation increased in cells exposed to DE. NHBE cells were pretreated or not with 20 mM NAC or 1% sorrel and kept in media or exposed to DE for seven hours. After the treatment, the supernatant was collected for measurement of hydrogen peroxide/peroxidase activity using the Amplex Red reagent. <svg height="13.532pt" id="M28"
