Aims and scope
Mental Illness is an online-only, international, Open Access peer-reviewed journal which publishes scientific papers concerning the latest advances in the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness. All psychiatry-related manuscripts are welcome.
Mental Illness publishes original articles and reviews
The editor-in-chief welcomes articles on the below and related topics in psychiatric mental illness:
- Co-morbidity
- Links between mental illness and physical symptoms
- Cognitive problems
- Uses of new technologies – for instance transcranial magnetic stimulation use in ALS and stroke patients
- Psychiatric illnesses
- Links with other medical illnesses – for instance, cancer and heart attacks
- Mood disorders
- Dual diagnosis (mental illness and substance use).
