Supplementary Material

Videos are simulation trial runs for a planar multi-target tracking scenario in a static sensor network, in which 9 × 9 sensors laid out uniformly over a square of size [-1000 m, 1000 m] × [-1000 m, 1000 m] divided into 200 m × 200 m blocks. Our goal is to estimate the number of targets as well as their positions using Spatial Non-maximum Suppressed sensor selection. Two distinguished implementations are presented. Blue dots stand for sensors that cannot detect any targets, and red o are sensors that can detect at least one target.
