The first part “1a” at the top on the resulting curves in (a) is the values calculated from the positive up-going points of () and , “2a” obtained from the positive down-going. In (b), “1b” is obtained from the down-going points of () and , and “2b” from negative up-going pressures. Notice that (a) and (b) are, respectively, Figures 5(a) and 5(b).
