Before stimulation, there was no statistical significance for the FC of the right amygdala and left middle frontal gyrus (taVNS vs. staVNS), but the difference was significant during stimulation. The FC decreased in taVNS and increased in staVNS (prestimulation vs. during stimulation). Therefore, the changing trend of the FC was opposite between taVNS and staVNS.</div>
