Sodium Butyrate-Modulated Mitochondrial Function in High-Insulin Induced HepG2 Cell Dysfunction

<div>NaB increased expression of signal transduction proteins on cell membranes. (a) Shape of mitochondria within live cells were stained with MitoTracker™ Deep Red FM and observed under a confocal microscope (magnification: 1200). Expression and location for (b, c) GPR43, (d, e) beta-arrestin2, and (f, g) insulin receptor were determined by immunofluorescence and observed under a confocal microscope (magnification: 800). mRNA expression of (h) GLUT2 and (i) GLUT4 was determined by Q-PCR.
