The combination of ticagrelor and colchicine inhibits carrageenan-induced thrombosis in mouse liver and lung tissues. Liver, lung, and serum samples collected from mice used in Figure 2 were conducted the following assays. (a, b) Liver (a) and lung (b) frozen sections were prepared for HE staining. The yellow arrow represents intrahepatic thrombus formation in the liver; blue squares represent the outline of the blood vessel in the lung tissues, and yellow squares represent the intravenous thrombus; (c, d) ALT and AST levels in serum were determined ().
