Description

Nuclear scanning has traditionally adopted and exploited many methods of integrating computer vision into broader fields. With help, many scanning methods and image data modifications can be updated with respect to next-generation technology. These techniques are used to visualize image-based nuclear scanning and integration for non-invasive medical applications. Scanning methods are usually painless, except for intravenous injections.

Medical scans also show relatively smaller variations in anatomy, orientation, and field of view compared with natural images. These scanning tests use a radioactive substance called a radiopharmaceutical to help the doctor diagnose and evaluate a medical condition. We can see peak levels on a fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) scan, allowing the doctor to detect the disease before it can be detected on a specific medical scan report. The FDG-PET is one of the most important scanning operations used in medical science. Normally, this is optimized and controlled by effective scanners to generate efficient results. Nuclear scanning technology requires small doses of harmful content to detect, measure, or treat many diseases. It is implicated in several forms of tumor, cardiac, cardiovascular, endocrine, psychiatric, and other kinds of diseases. Since nuclear scanning applications can detect molecular activity, they can also diagnose disease at early levels.

The aim of this Special Issue is to discuss recent developments and innovations in nuclear scanning applications in the field of medical science. We are particularly interested in developing new uses for nuclear scanning optimization methods for next generation scanners. We welcome both original research and review articles.
