The SEM image shows the spherical shape of the magnetic nanoparticles with diameter about 150 nm. (b) SEM image of nanoparticle/DNA complexes. The nanoparticle/DNA complexes are also spherical but with rougher surface. The diameter of the complexes is about 200 nm.
