Application of PEI-Modified Magnetic Nanoparticles as Gene Transfer Vector for the Genetic Modification of Animals
Expression efficiencies of GFP plasmid at different ratio of nanoparticles and plasmid DNA. The efficiency of GFP expression was influenced by the mass ratio of nanoparticles and plasmid DNA. Efficiencies are () % and () % at the mass ratio of 2 : 1 and 1 : 2, respectively. The highest gene delivery efficiency was obtained with () % at the nanoparticle/DNA mass ratio of 1 : 1. Shown are mean averages ± standard deviation of three independent experiments. The differences are significant () as determined by one-way ANOVA.
