Application of Materials in Agricultural Engineering

Description

Agricultural engineering has advanced at a breakneck pace during the previous few decades. Engineering qualities are the characteristics that are helpful and required in the design and operation of agricultural processing equipment. Orienting to the demand for sophisticated materials in agricultural production and research, which conforms to the fundamental principle of "from agriculture to agriculture”.

We are excited to give solutions to scientific and technological difficulties in the development of contemporary agriculture with advanced materials, by designing and fabricating modern tools for use in agriculture. Cleaning, grading, drying, dehydration, storage, milling, handling, and transportation, as well as thermal processing of foods, are among the most significant agricultural processing processes. Physical, mechanical, frictional, rheological, aero and hydrodynamic, electrical, and optical characteristics of biomaterials play a significant part in these processes while processing grains and other commodities. Basic information on these characteristics is critical for engineers, food scientists, and processors in the creation of efficient processes and equipment. An attempt has been made to define some of the engineering features commonly seen in agricultural crop postproduction management. Photomorphogenesis, horticulture, greenhouse cultivation, poultry farming, seaweed, aquaculture, and other topics are covered in this special issue, as well as biochar materials made from agricultural and forestry wastes; additive materials used in pesticides and food; auxiliary materials used in veterinary drugs, such as surfactant materials; and materials used in the field of agribusiness.
