Populations of the three fecal bacteria per fertilization treatment: T0, unfertilized control; T1, mineral fertilization (urea + NPK); T2, mineral fertilization + 10 t⋅ha⁻¹ of poultry manure; and T3, 40 t⋅ha⁻¹ of poultry manure (coastal area of Benin, 2009-2010, 288 plots). The fertilization, with or without poultry manure, had no significant impact on the high initial contamination of the environment.
