RA: regular air (85% relative humidity); CA: controlled atmosphere (4% O2 + 6% CO2); 1-MCP: 1-methylcyclopropene (300 ppb); s.d: standard deviation. I: early maturity stage; II: advanced maturity stage; d: days at 5°C. SL (shelf life): fruit storage at 20°C. Fruit at SL was evaluated at the same flesh firmness level.
