Green Transportation System and Safety
Description
In order to utilize minimum energy to obtain maximum mobility benefits, a Green Transportation System (GTS) has been widely applied to solve transportation problems such as congestion, accidents, and pollution emissions.
This special issue aims at gathering the research and application of mathematical methods and models into a green transportation system or should be the representative study in the field of mobility behaviour and safety. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
- Intelligent Transportation System (ITS)
- Modeling and simulation of traffic system
- Eco-driving and energy-efficient vehicles
- Mobility behaviour and safety
- Mathematical optimizations in traffic engineering
- Traffic safety and emergence response
- Transit and rail systems operation
- Transport planning and road traffic control
- Energy, transport policy, and economics
Before submission authors should carefully read over the journal’s Author Guidelines, which are located at http://www.hindawi.com/journals/mpe/guidelines/. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal Manuscript Tracking System at http://mts.hindawi.com/submit/journals/mpe/gtss/ according to the following timetable:
