The supplemental material contains details on the experimental design of the transfusion of CFSE-labeled (Supplemental Figure 1) and ExtLuc+ (Supplemental Figure 2) human erythroblasts into NOD/SCID/IL2Rnull mice as well as the gating of CD36/CD235a labeling used to classify the maturity of human erythroblasts by flow cytometry (Supplemental Figure 3) and the analyses of the levels of CD184, CD162 and CD49d expressed by human erythroblasts generated ex vivo from adult blood and cord blood according to their maturation stage (defined by CD235a expression, Supplemental Figure 4).
