"He was born in 1976, in Rome, Italy. He has achieved a Ph.D. in Neurophysiology in 2006, and a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2001 (110 cum laude/110), both at University of Rome “La Sapienza”. Since 2008, he has been a researcher in the Clinical Laboratory of Experimental Neurorehabilitation of I.R.C.C.S. Fondazione Santa Lucia of Rome. He is first author and co-author of more than 20 papers published on international scientific journals in the field of motor control, biomechanics, instrumented movement analysis and technologies for neurorehabilitation. He is also referee for many journals in the field of neurorehabilitation and neuroengineering. From 2002 to 2005 he conducted his researches in the fields of human motor control and innovative methodologies in rehabilitation into the Department of Neuromotor Physiology of the same Foundation (director Prof. Lacquaniti). In 2005, he was elected vicepresident of the association I.Li.Tec. (Independent Life Technologies). From 2005 to 2008 he had got a post-doc fellowship for developing new methodologies into instrumented human movement analysis for people with disabilities at Department of Human Movement and Sport Sciences of University of Rome “Foro Italico” (director Prof. Cappozzo). In this period, he has been contractor professor of the Biomechanical Technologies course in the same University. Since 2005, he has been also teacher, coordinator and scientific committee member of many courses of continuing medical education. "
