Jacques Hubert Charles Delabie

Jacques H. C. Delabie graduated in biology (nature and life sciences) from Montpellier University II, Montpellier, France. He obtained his M.A. degree in animal biology from the University of Paris XI in 1980. Delabie received a second M.A. degree, this time in entomology, from the Pierre-and-Marie-Curie University (Paris VI) in 1981, and a Ph.D. degree in entomology from the same university. He went on to acquire an HDR degree in behavioral sciences (Paris XIII). His areas of expertise are ecology and entomology, acting on the following topics: Formicidae, Theobroma cacao, community ecology, biogeography, and the Brazilian Atlantic Rainforest.
