Takayuki Miyamae

Takayuki Miyamae is a native of Japan. He received his B.S. degree in 1990 and his M.S. degree in 1992 both in Chemistry Department of Nagoya University under the direction of Prof. Jiro Tanaka. He received a Ph.D. degree from Nagoya University in 1995 under the supervision of Prof. Kazuhiko Seki. He worked under Prof. Nobuo Ueno at the Institute for Molecular Science from 1995 to 1997 as a JSPS Research Fellow. From 1997 to 1999, he was an IMS Research Fellow worked under Prof. Tsuneo Urisu at the Institute for Molecular Science. Miyamae is currently a Senior Researcher of AIST. His research interests lie in characterization of the surfaces and the interfaces of polymers, liquids, and functional organic materials using sum-frequency generation vibrational spectroscopy.
