Minvydas Ragulskis received his Ph.D. degree from Kaunas University of Technology, Kaunas, Lithuania in 1992 followed by Dr. Habil. degree in 2002. Since 2002, he has worked as a Full Professor at the Department of Mathematical Research in Systems. He has got a Pedagogical degree of Professor in 2008. He is the founder and the Head of the Research Group for Mathematical and Numerical Analysis of Dynamical Systems (www.personalas.ktu.lt/~mragul). He is the member of SIAM and EURASEM (the contact person for Lithuania). He is the holder of different grants and awards: Elsevier Grant in 2002, Gold Medal in Lithuanian Annual Competition in the Area of Machines and Mechanisms in 2005, Lithuanian State Science Award in 2005, Kazickas Family Foundation Grant in 2010, Lithuanian Science Council Grant in 2011. One of his papers is listed in APS server Physics–Spotlighting Exceptional Research (http://physics.aps.org/articles/v4/96). He has been an invited speaker in a number of international conferences.
