Wilbert S. Aronow, M.D., serves as a Clinical Professor of medicine at the Divisions of Cardiology, Geriatrics, and Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine. He has been appointed as the Director, Cardiology Clinic, as a Senior Associate Program Director, Cardiology Fellowship Program, as a Senior Associate Program Director and as a Research Mentor for the Residency and Fellowship Programs, Department of Medicine, and as a Senior Associate Director, Center for Educational Innovations Project Quality Research, Westchester Medical Center/New York Medical College. He has edited 8 books and (co)authored 1,196 papers (624 original research papers, 151 chapters in 86 books, 372 review papers, and 49 editorials), 168 letters to the editor, commentaries, and book reviews, and 859 abstracts. He has also given 1,185 talks at meetings. He received the Walter Bleifeld Memorial Award for distinguished contributions to clinical research from the International Academy of Cardiology at the 15th World Congress on Heart Disease in 2010.
